Hey Jude Lyrics
“Hey Jude, don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.”
“Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.”
Hey Jude, don't be afraid.
You were made to go out and get her.
The minute you let her under your skin,
Then you begin to make it better.
And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain,
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders.
“For well you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder.”
Hey Jude, don't let me down.
You have found her, now go and get her.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.
So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin,
You’re waiting for someone to perform with.
And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do,
The movement you need is on your shoulder.
Hey Jude, don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her under your skin,
Then you'll begin to make it
Better better better better better better, oh.
Na na na na na ,na na na, hey Jude...

Hey Jude Essay
Music is a very powerful thing. It has the power to change ones emotions. It can put people in a happy mood or it can really bring them down. It can make you relax or it can make you want to jump up and dance. But the songs people are moved the most by are songs they can relate to; poetic lyrics and euphonic melodies that can perfectly describe one’s life. There are many songs that I can relate to well but there is only one song that fits me best. There is only one song that I will always come back to if I’m ever feeling down and that song’s Hey Jude by the Beatles.
“Hey Jude, don’t make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better” This is a line that I try to live by. Its saying that everyone has low moments but if you’re just going to go in a corner and mope than nothing will get done. You have to be active and looking at things in a positive way and only then can you get yourself out of that rut. Like everyone else, I have felt depressed. I have felt depressed for months at a time but I decided to have a positive outlook and I knew that was the only way I could “make it better.”
“The minute you let her into your heart, than you can start to make it better.” This line is more of a romantic expression. Sometimes people will run away from their feelings. They might not let someone get too close to them because they’re afraid. What the song is trying to say is not to play games and simply let love into your heart and things will work out okay.
“For well you know that it’s a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder” this is my favorite line of the song. It is saying that people, who hide their feelings and just try to play it cool, ultimately become lonely. I have a friend who is exemplary in this theory. He just goes through life not showing any emotion and just playing it cool. If he keeps rejecting people into his life and into his emotions, then he will have no one to go to for advice or comfort and he will become depressed. I try to remember this quote whenever something is bothering me and want to get something off my chest.
The song Hey Jude is definitely one of my favorites. There are millions of songs out there but as you can see, this is a song I can especially relate to on many emotional levels.
